The Kansas City Chiefs have a lot of decisions to make in the next month (although we’re obviously not assuming they haven’t already been debating these scenarios for weeks and months) about their own players scheduled to hit free agency. If you include every category of free agency, the Chiefs have, by our count at Over the Cap, 26 free agents to consider. “Do we want him back or do we not?”

Not every potential free agent is that simple obviously. Some players won’t want to return. Some others will be too expensive. The Chiefs have to consider present needs and future finances. And some decisions might get emotional, even if the NFL is a business best left to cold calculations (at least if you’re Bill Belichick).

The latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast is out with a closer look at the Chiefs free agents on offense. Who should they make every effort to bring back? Who can they stand to lose? Who will be the most painful decision, and who is the easiest call?

On this specific episode, Sterling Holmes and Matt Conner break down many of the Chiefs options on the offensive side where a lot of work is needed and question the emotional choices behind a few. Will they bring Sammy back? Is it worth bringing back Mike Remmers and Kelechi Osemele? And Sterling wants to know what to make of the team’s special teams miscues after years of excellence under special teams coach Dave Toub.
