The Kansas City Chiefs suffered a pretty bad loss at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but the future for this team is bright because of Patrick Mahomes.

There’s no sugarcoating things, Addicts. That one stung. The Chiefs got handled by the Tampa Bay Bucs. Yes, there were bad penalties, but while those calls were awful, the Chiefs were just out-matched in this one.

In this post-game edition of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, Matt Verderame and I try to make sense of what happened on Sunday night. More importantly, we do our best to provide a little perspective to Chiefs Kingdom. It can be hard to see a silver lining after your favorite team loses in a championship game but make no mistake, we are in a golden era of Chiefs football.

Give the podcast a listen to find out what we thought of the game and why we think the Chiefs will be right back in the championship hunt next year.

We also want to thank you for listening to and supporting the Arrowhead Addict podcast all season long. Just because it is the offseason doesn’t me we’re going anywhere. There is no offseason at Arrowhead Addict. In fact, we’re about to step up our game. More to come on that soon.

If you like the podcast, please head on over to Apple Podcasts and leave us a written review. If you have questions about the game or the offseason, leave them in your review and we will answer them on the podcast.  We will be back later this week. Until then, give this episode a listen and go Chiefs!
