The latest episode of the AA podcast looks back at a meaningless Chiefs game and what we can take from it.

I know.

I wanted the Kansas City Chiefs’ backups to win, too. 15-1 would have been cool. But 14-2 ain’t bad, either.

The Chiefs rested their starters so guys could heal up and avoid injury. Unfortunately, Kansas City couldn’t rest everyone. Promising rookie linebacker Willie Gay left with an injury and did not return. While he isn’t a starter, Gay brings a tremendous amount of athleticism to a decidedly un-athletic Chiefs linebacking group. Let’s hope he is ok. Deandre Baker also left with a broken femur.

On this week’s Arrowhead Addict podcast, we will break down some of the performances from today’s meaningless game and set the stage for the AFC Playoffs.
