Tyreek operates on another level

Every time Tyreek Hill’s ability is brought up, my mind goes back to when Sean Payton and Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints were asked to identify the NFL’s most dangerous weapon. Their answer was Tyreek.

Fast forward to Sunday’s win over Miami and it was clear that even the best defensive game plan simply cannot compensate for Hill’s skill set. His top speed is another gear entirely over a league filled with elite athletes. His ability to run precise routes, create separation, make the right cuts, and go up for a contested catch—all aspects are elite-level for Hill and they’re all found in the same player.

Against the Dolphins, Hill had been shut out of any targets early during a largely miserable first half offensively for the Chiefs. Yet their lone early touchdown was when they gave him the ball and he literally just outran every single Dolphins defender up the sideline for a score. Exhibit A:

In the second half, the Chiefs made it a two-possession lead as they went to Hill deep from midfield and the Chiefs receiver once again got behind the entire secondary.

Even when it takes being one of the greatest athletes in the world just to play the sport, there’s simply no one in the NFL who can do what Hill can.
