Five reasons why the KC Chiefs are still Super Bowl favorites

The Kansas City Chiefs had their bye this week and as we look forward to the second half of the season, here is why they are still the Super Bowl favorites.

As Week 10 of the NFL season comes to a close, we are getting ready to head down the home stretch of the NFL season. If you go and look at the current betting odds, the Kansas City Chiefs remain the favorite to win the Super Bowl this season. That makes sense because they are the defending champions and boast an impressive 8-1 record, but should Chiefs fans feel good about the Chiefs chances at this point?

Despite their 8-1 record, there have been several times this season where the Chiefs haven’t been the powerhouse team that we expect them to be. Obviously there was the home loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. In addition to that loss, wins against the Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, and Carolina Panthers were ugly and the Chiefs were lucky just to pull those games out. So should the rest of the NFL feel like the Chiefs are set up to get knocked off this season?

I don’t think so and neither should you. There are five main reasons why I believe the Chiefs are still the clear favorite to win it all again this season. So let’s look at what each of those five reasons are, starting with the most obvious one.
