Here’s a glance at the midseason award winners for your 2020 Kansas City Chiefs.

Sure, the Kansas City Chiefs are now nine games into a 16-game season. But with the team heading into its much-deserved bye week, you’re hungry for some content!

With half of the 2020 season in the books, there is no hardware to be handed out. However, we still like to talk about who is leading the pack for the team’s annual awards. Here’s a glance at the midseason award winners for your 2020 Kansas City Chiefs.

MVP

It’s really easy to want to find someone besides quarterback Patrick Mahomes. I mean, he’s just too easy an answer. As much as you’d like to pinpoint someone as a hot-take-hero, it’s plain and simple that the most valuable player on this team (or any NFL team) is Mahomes. He’s worth every draft pick from any team for the foreseeable future. Might be the only player in the conference who is completely and utterly irreplaceable and untradeable.

He led the NFL in total offense with 2,416 yards through his first 8 games. He has only committed one turnover on the season. Even more importantly, he is the consummate leader. The statistics speak for themselves, but there isn’t a blemish to be found on Mahomes’ character. He has a star pedigree and is the uncontested leader of this football team.
