Lessons learned about the Chiefs defense, Harrison Butker and more

Chiefs have real shot at top seed
Yes, the Pittsburgh Steelers are undefeated, which means they control their own destiny when it comes to clinching home field advantage. However, Pittsburgh was far from sharp in their narrow victory against the Dallas Cowboys this week. They have a few tough matchups down the stretch, including a rematch with the Baltimore Ravens, two games against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills, and the maddening but feisty Cleveland Browns.
Now, after their bye, the Chiefs have notable games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, and Las Vegas Raiders. I think we have a lot more questions about who the Steelers are than the Chiefs.
Are the Steelers the team that narrowly beat Garrett Gilbert, or are they the team who won a prizefight against Baltimore? I think the Chiefs have a more fleshed-out identity: a bombastic offense with an opportunistic, aggressive, but attackable defense. After all, this has more or less been the Chiefs identity dating back to last season.
The remainder of the year will be extremely telling in just who the Steelers are. The Chiefs are a game behind in the race for the top seed, but they are a hair away from usurping the Steelers, if they can shoot out of the gate following their bye week.
