The Denver Broncos finally received some good news in terms of health as they prepare for the Chiefs in Week 7.

The Denver Broncos have resembled a cursed franchise since before the 2020 regular season began due to health concerns that have sidelined so many of the team’s top performers. Fortunately for Vic Fangio’s club, the Broncos are getting a healthy number of players back on both sides of the ball in time to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Broncos beat reporter Zac Stevens has word that Denver will welcome back tight end Noah Fant, cornerback A.J. Bouye, defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones, and wide receiver K.J. Hamler from injury in time to host K.C.

The Broncos are 2-3 and coming off a surprising 18-12 win over the New England Patriots last week that showed the franchise has much more spark than anyone might have predicted for a previously one-win team. It’s safe to say that Fangio and company made it clear against Bill Belichick that any attempts to write them off just yet were submitted too early, which means the Chiefs should be on guard.

The Chiefs, of course, remain heavy favorites in this game given their status as the defending Super Bowl champs. The Chiefs are currently 5-1 and look poised for another title run. They also just added former All-Pro Le’Veon Bell to the mix and Denver will be his first opponent in red and gold.

For the Broncos, Bouye comes back at an ideal time to help try to slow Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs vaunted passing game. He was a Pro Bowl performer in 2017 for the Jaguars and his acquisition was supposed to help replace the departing Chris Harris in the secondary. As for Hamler and Fant, the pair give quarterback Drew Lock two more young weapons—especially Fant who was the team’s first round pick only a year ago. Jones is a rotational lineman along the defensive front.

The Chiefs and Broncos kick off at 3:25 p.m. C.T.
