KC Chiefs have experienced internal options for offensive line help

Danny Isidora
Buried on the practice squad is yet another option that few Chiefs fans likely even realize is on the team in Danny Isidora.
Like Kilgore, Isidora was also a fifth round pick, taken in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings out of the University of Miami (Fl.). He played in the Twin Cities for two seasons, making 21 appearances and 3 starts total before being traded to the Miami Dolphins for a 7th round selection before final roster cuts were due that year.
Isidora made the Dolphins starting lineup out of training camp as the right guard, but only made three starts before a foot injury forced him out for the rest of the season. The Dolphins placed him on IR but had no room for him heading into 2020 after drafting Robert Hunt and Solomon Kindley.
Isidora was waived by the Dolphins just before the 2020 season began and the Chiefs grabbed him for their practice squad in early September. It gives them another experienced player and former starter within arm’s reach in case other options aren’t working out as planned.
