OT Yasir Durant

As a surprise addition to the Chiefs roster in August, the undrafted Yasir Durant shows obvious promise to the Chiefs coaching staff. While he’s at the bottom of the totem pole on the current depth chart, the team currently employs only nine offensive linemen. We think Durant will stay, at least until swing man Martinas Rankin returns from the PUP list. At that point, things may look different for the 6’6″ 330-lb. Missouri Tiger.

TE Ricky Seals-Jones

Chiefs Kingdom was excited to add an athletic option at TE2 for the Chiefs, but veteran Ricky Seals-Jones has not yet been able to crack the active in-game roster for the Chiefs during the first quarter of the season. He’s buried behind Travis Kelce, Nick Keizer, and Deon Yelder on the depth chart. Based on the way Andy Reid has utilized his tight ends, the writing is on the wall for the 25-year-old Seals-Jones.
