Andrew Wylie is among the inactive players for the Chiefs vs. the Ravens.

With the most anticipated regular season game nearly ready for kickoff, the inactives lists for each team are finally out and the most interesting name for the Kansas City Chiefs is starting guard Andrew Wylie.

As the Chiefs announced their inactives, it immediately brought up questions for Chiefs fans and analysts wondering what the team was planning to do along the offensive line. Wylie has been the team’s starting guard for the first two games in place of Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, who was the first NFL player to opt out of this season. Now, however, the Chiefs will feature a new starting line heading into the toughest road game on their schedule.

Wylie reportedly showed up to the game feeling ill, which means the Chiefs will turn to a surprise guest inside between Austin Reiter and Mitchell Schwartz on the right side. Will it be Yasir Durant? Perhaps Nick Allegretti? Mike Remmers is the veteran who has been playing right tackle, but he’s certainly capable of filling in and is the most likely selection.

As for other inactives, Alex Okafor was a known quantity due to the hamstring injury that has kept the defensive end out of the last two weeks. In addition, it’s notable that BoPete Keyes is back on the list of inactives after being active for last week’s game—despite not playing. That means Charvarius Ward is not only active but likely to get a good amount of snaps with his cast, even with a fractured hand.
