KC Chiefs practice squad features Matt Moore, Jordan Ta’amu
By Matt Conner
RB DeAndre Washington
Washington was a surprise cut in the backfield given his proven experience as a successful scatback. He could earn looks from other teams with needs at running back.
DE Tim Ward
Ward looked solid coming off of injury this preseason but the former Old Dominion pass rusher is also competing at the deepest position on the Chiefs roster. Give him another season and there will be a solid opportunity for fans to really get to know Ward.
C Darryl Williams
Williams came in as a heralded undrafted free agent looking to upset the pecking order in the heart of the offensive line. This preseason robbed him of the preseason reps that could have helped his cause but the Chiefs clearly like the potential and versatility here.
