11. Drew Lock

While I may like Joe Burrow’s long term upside in the NFL more than Drew Lock‘s, Lock finds himself one spot ahead of Burrow on this list, for two main reasons. The first being that Lock has the benefit of having one year more of experience than Burrow. Lock not only has had more time to adapt to the NFL, he has game experience under his belt and looked pretty good in the process. That’s not to say that Lock set the NFL on fire, but he certainly looked good enough for the Denver Broncos to go all in on him this season.

The second reason I put Lock ahead of Burrow was that the Broncos have done a really nice job of stocking their offense with weapons to help Lock succeed. They have Phillip Lindsay and Melvin Gordon to run the ball and weapons like Noah Fant, Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and K.J. Hamler for him to target in the passing game. I’m not sure if Lock will be a star in the NFL or not, but the Broncos have certainly tried to set him up for success this season.
