The Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly reached agreement on contracts with every drafted player.

Per Terez Paylor of Yahoo! Sports, the Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly reached verbal agreement on a contract with every single rookie in the team’s 2020 draft class.

The Chiefs have a six-player draft class from this year’s crop of rookies, led by first-round running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire out of Louisiana State. From there, the team spent selections in each of the following rounds, sans the sixth round, that included linebacker Willie Gay, Jr. of Mississippi State; offensive lineman Lucas Niang of Texas Christian; defensive back L’Jarius Sneed of Louisiana Tech; pass rusher Michael Danna of Michigan; and corner BoPete Keyes from Tulane.

The Chiefs have been quite active in recent weeks in terms of contracts with major extensions given out to both quarterback Patrick Mahomes and defensive lineman Chris Jones. The team committed hundreds of millions of dollars to both players in the process but had to leave just enough to at least sign this year’s rookie draft class for the 2020 cap.

Official terms have not yet been released, since it’s too early as of press time, but since all rookie contracts are on a slotted system—thanks to the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement—it’s possible to make unofficial guesses about the amounts. Each deal is for four years, save for Edwards-Helaire, who also has a team option for a fifth year. Spotrac has estimates on each including the following:

  • Clyde Edwards-Helaire – $10.8 million
  • Willie Gay – $5.27 million
  • Lucas Niang – $4.52 million
  • L’Jarius Sneed – $3.93 million
  • Michael Danna – $3.59 million
  • BoPete Keyes – $3.38 million
