Ian Rapoport says that an extension is nearly done between Chris Jones and the Chiefs.

According to a new report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly close to striking a long-term agreement with their star defensive tackle Chris Jones.

Rapoport notes that nothing is finalized as of yet, which means that things could still go either direction, but it would be hard to imagine word like this leaking out without something being official soon thereafter.
