12. Las Vegas Raiders – Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

Analysis by Arrowhead Addict contributor Lyle Graversen

The Raiders have their fair share of issues that they could address with this pick. Regardless of whether it is incumbent Derek Carr or recently signed Marcus Mariota starting at quarterback for the Raiders, they could use a true number one receiver for him to throw to.

The Raiders found a gem at tight end Darren Waller, but their wide receiver group lacks a big time talent to keep defenses from being able to key in on their new star tight end. The trio of Tyrell Williams, Hunter Renfrow, and the recently signed Nelson Agholor are all nice complementary pieces, but none are a true number one wideout and that is exactly what Jerry Jeudy of Alabama is projected to be.

Jeudy is as good as almost any wide receiver prospect in recent years when it comes to route running and creating separation. His frame is a little slight, but he’s so electric with the ball in his hands that defenders rarely get a big hit on him. I considered his fellow Alabama teamate, the speedy Henry Ruggs III, but ultimately I feel like Jeudy is a safer bet to fill the void left by Amari Cooper when he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys.
