Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon decided to use his Easter holiday to decorate eggs to look like his head coach Andy Reid.

We’re all looking for various ways to kill the time spent indoors these days as we’re waiting out quarantine orders in our various states to fight the spread of the coronavirus. Some of us are more creative than others, and Kansas City Chiefs defensive end. Tanoh Kpassagnon used his Easter holiday weekend to show off his ideas.

Specifically, Kpassagnon came up with a way to decorate Easter eggs to look like his head coach Andy Reid. He then took to Twitter to show off the eggs and they’re pretty impressive—especially for those of us who are drawing impaired.

Later on the same day, ABC reporter Jeff Skversky from Philadelphia got a chance to interview Kpassagnon to ask him about the eggs. (Remember, Kpassagnon went to college in Philly at Villanova before the Chiefs selected him in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft). At first, Kpassagnon says he got a phone call from Reid saying that he liked them but, surprisingly, the defensive end didn’t have his coach’s number in his phone so his response was, “Who is this?”

Later in the conversation, Kpassagnon says that Reid always appreciates any sort of creativity or showcase of a player’s off-the-field interests like this. “He definitely loves that. He just loves us honestly as players, so anything we do that shows our personality, he loves it,” he said of Reid.

Kpassagnon continues his on-field upward trajectory in 2020 with hopes for a real breakout season in a contract year. The Chiefs drafted him out of Nova knowing he would need time with NFL trainers and coaches to acclimate his game to the pro level and he really came through last year with some important plays. He even started 8 games as Alex Okafor missed time due to injuries and turned in 29 tackles, 4 sacks, 11 quarterback hits, and 1 forced fumble.
