1.) Len Dawson

After failing to make any real impression on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns, Hall of Fame quarterback Len Dawson is certainly most remembered for his time with the Texans/Chiefs organization, a near decade-and-a-half span that began in 1962, the year before the Chiefs moved to K.C. (or even became the Chiefs).

Not only did Dawson propel the team to the AFL title in 1962, he also led them to their first two Super Bowls, and first Super Bowl victory, in Super Bowls I and IV.

In his incredible career, Dawson made the Pro Bowl seven times and was twice named to the NFL’s All Pro squads. He led the league in touchdown passes on four separate occasions and he was the league leader in completion percentage eight times. He finished his career with over 28,000 passing yards and 239 touchdown passes.

Its quite possible that Len Dawson played in every meaningful game in Kansas City Chiefs history prior to 1990. Playing until he was 40, he completed 14 seasons with the team before retiring.
