KC Chiefs meet with J.K. Dobbins, other RBs at Combine

J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State
Very little can be written about J.K. Dobbins that isn’t already widely known. There are good reasons why the Ohio State product is considered a candidate to be the first running back taken in the draft (and a potential first round investment).
Last season, Dobbins put on a clinic in the Big Ten that not only silenced any doubters from his previous injury-riddled 2018 but put him squarely in the fight for best back in the draft class. He finished sixth in Heisman voting after rushing for 2,003 yards on 301 carries (6.7 yards/carry average) and 21 touchdowns. He rushed for 4,459 yards in three seasons at OSU.
If the Chiefs are going to grab Dobbins, they’ll likely need to use their top pick to get him. There simply isn’t much not to like about his game. His high-end speed and incredible elusiveness make him nearly impossible to tackle at times, but he’s also very physical as a runner and is not afraid of contact. He has elite vision, great hands, and excellent athleticism and the results speak for themselves.
