Chris Jones is bringing some Super Bowl flavors to bear on his Stone Cold Jones Soda line with the unveiling of four new options.

Nothing can satisfy our thirst for more news or hype about the Kansas City Chiefs appearance on Sunday in Super Bowl LIV which is why we were stoked to hear about the unveiling of four new flavors from Chris Jones’ line of sodas: Stone Cold Jones Sodas.

Jones, a star defensive lineman for the Chiefs, debuted his soda line this summer before the regular season began in conjunction with K.C. Soda Co., who actually produces the beverages. The first run of flavors included Stone Cold Jones Cream Soda, Sack Nation Strawberry, Summer Lemonade, and Root Beer. From there, the titles and flavors have gotten even more interesting, including Punishing Pineapple, Unblockable Black Cherry and, my favorite, Raider Tears Birch.

Just in time for Super Bowl LIV, K.C. area fans can now stop at K.C. Soda Co. and grab the four newest flavors, each with a decidedly championship flavor:

  1. Wake Up It’s GameDay Espresso Soda
  2. Berry the Niners (a raspberry lime flavor)
  3. Mississippi Mud Chocolate (a nod to Jones’ home)
  4. South Beach Lemonade (a rebranding of Summer Lemonade to mach SBLIV’s locale)

Jones has been healing from a calf injury this postseason after suffering it in preparation for the team’s Divisional Round game against the Houston Texans. Fortunately the Chiefs won and Jones returned to help the defense stave off Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans to go to their first Super Bowl in 50 years. Now Jones is hoping for a championship push, not only for a ring but also for the steps it might help bring in his long-term contract negotiations.

Jones is currently scheduled to be a free agent at the end of this season.
