9. RT Mitchell Schwartz
Prior to joining the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016, Mitchell Schwartz was one of the more underrated offensive tackles in the NFL during his four years with the Cleveland Browns. Since Schwartz joined the Kansas City Chiefs, Schwartz has improved and become an even better right tackle. Schwartz is not only one of the best right tackles in the league, but one of the best offensive linemen overall.
Although Schwartz continues to be snubbed each season for the Pro Bowl, the media recognizes him as an elite offensive lineman. Schwartz was named as a Second Team All-Pro twice in 2016 and 2017 before being named as a First Team All-Pro in 2018. Pro Football Focus tabbed Schwartz as the best offensive lineman for the 2018 season, where he allowed 21 quarterback pressures on 687 pass-blocking snaps.
According to Stats, Schwartz has allowed just 5.5 sacks since 2017, including just half of a sack this year.
Availability has also been key for Schwartz, who has missed just one snap in his eight-year career up until mid-November of this season.
The good news is that the Chiefs have Schwartz locked up through 2021, giving Patrick Mahomes a viable right tackle for at least a couple of more years.
