The skinny:

A 6’3, 320 lb. interior offensive line prospect with three years starting for one of the best lines in college.

They say:

"“The center position continues to be a position of emphasis for Kansas City in mock drafts. Patrick Mahomes is their most valuable asset and they need to add more reliable, solid play in front of him. Mitchell Schwartz might be the only lineman on that team where an upgrade may not be considered.”"

We say:

It’s easy to agree with the assessment above. The Chiefs have very few weaknesses but the greatest concentration of worry—both present and future—is along the team’s offensive line.

Mitch Morse is clearly missed along the interior and injuries have taken their toll on the consistency of the entire unit. The Chiefs lack any clear answer in case Eric Fisher or Mitchell Schwartz are forced to miss time, and even starters like Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and Andrew Wylie are ripe for very real competition in training camp.

Biadasz could be an answer for sure along the interior and this isn’t the first time we’ve seen his name linked to the Chiefs in first round. Feels like an obvious pick and a perfect merger of value and need.
