The Kansas City Chiefs list of inactive players is pretty predictable given that the team had already said a few key guys would be out.

The Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots have announced their list of inactive players before their Week 14 matchup on Sunday afternoon and there are little to no surprises for either team as they release the news.

For the Chiefs, the team had already made it known ahead of time that running back Damien Williams and cornerbacks Rashad Fenton and Morris Claiborne would not be able to suit up and play at Foxborough in the long-awaited AFC showdown. Thus, their appearance on the team’s inactive list was expected, and the players surrounding them are hardly a surprise at all.

As for the Patriots, rookie defensive back Joejuan Williams has been ruled inactive for the game, but again that’s not a big deal given that he’s only played in six total games this year with zero starts. The Patriots are also without center Ted Karras, but that much was expected given injury news that came in earlier this week.

Here is the full list of inactive players for the Kansas City Chiefs:

  • Deon Yelder, tight end
  • Chad Henne, quarterback
  • Rashad Fenton, cornerback
  • Morris Claiborne, cornerback
  • Damien Williams, running back
  • Nick Allegretti, offensive lineman
  • Jackson Barton, offensive lineman
