The Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders will both be down a key skill position player based on injury reports for their Week 13 matchup.

The official injury reports are out for Sunday’s game between the visiting Oakland Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs for a key AFC West showdown. Both teams are relatively healthy entering the contest, although they will be missing a key skill position player apiece.

The Raiders declared wide receiver Hunter Renfrow out for the game and the Kansas City Chiefs will be without running back Damien Williams on Sunday as well.

Renfrow suffered a nasty injury of a broken rib and punctured lung, which he somehow played through, last week against the New York Jets in an ugly Week 12 loss. Renfrow is now considered week to week as he heals from the injury, The Raiders will certainly welcome him back for any part of the stretch run considering how he was coming on stronger as a rookie receiver and for the sake of how thin their receiving corps has been all year.

As for Damien Williams, the Chiefs will move forward with a tandem of LeSean McCoy and Darrel Williams as their primary one-two punch in the backfield. The team can also make sure sixth round choice Darwin Thompson is active and they did add Elijah McGuire onto the practice squad in case they were interested in adding his skill set to the mix as well. Oddly enough, Williams is also out with a rib injury, one suffered before the team’s recent bye week.

The Chiefs have hope that Williams will be able to rest and return before other upcoming key games, including the New England Patriots next week and the Chicago Bears later in December.

As for other players, the Raiders have right tackle Trent Brown as questionable to play with a knee injury although he was a full participant in practice earlier in the week. Rodney Hudson, the team’s Pro Bowl center, began the week out of practice but ended up without any official injury designation.

Everyone else is healthy for the Chiefs.
