Adding Some Help Up Front

Despite being beloved by the fan base, Dr. Laurent Duvernay-Tardif has struggled to stay healthy and appears to have plateaued in his development as a lineman. If the Chiefs are desperate to generate cap space, the good doctor could end up elsewhere in 2020.

There are a handful of offensive lineman that I like in this class. Ben Cleveland from Georgia is a personal favorite, but Shane Lemieux from Oregon is an ideal Andy Reid lineman. Lemieux is flexible and quick and excels at pass blocking. Either way, the Chiefs need to add some new blood to the offensive line and the draft is a perfect chance to do so.

The Chiefs need to prioritize protecting Mahomes at all costs, so investing in skilled linemen will always be a wise decision.
