The Kansas City Chiefs lost two more offensive linemen in the first half against the Tennessee Titans including their All-Pro right tackle.

The Kansas City Chiefs weren’t exactly playing with a full deck when it came to their offensive line as they suited up in Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans. Unfortunately, the first half took out a couple more options for the Chiefs up front via injuries to both Martinas Rankin and Mitchell Schwartz.

Schwartz is the bigger name but he also has the lesser injury. Schwartz went down one play before Rankin late in the second quarter with a knee injury, which ended the longest consecutive snaps played streak in the entire National Football League. Schwartz has never missed a single snap in his NFL career, which made the sight of him laying on the ground next to medical staff such an oddity. Schwartz was termed questionable to return on Sunday afternoon.

Rankin, meanwhile, was quickly ruled out with a knee injury of his own after he went down on the very next play after replacing Schwartz in the lineup. The medical cart was used to bring him off the field. The severity is unknown and details won’t be available until at least early next week, but it seems likely that he could miss some real time going forward.

The Chiefs were already without Eric Fisher on the line at left tackle, who has been missing ever since he was practicing for Week 2. The Chiefs are now down to their last offensive linemen and can withstand no further injuries to anyone. Nick Allegretti and Stefen Wisniewski are among the backups now tasked with staying healthy and starting the rest of the game.
