2020 NFL Draft: Checking out 20 prospects for the Kansas City Chiefs
By Thomas Welte
Linebacker
- Troy Dye, Oregon
- Paddy Fisher, Northwestern
- Dylan Moses, Alabama
- Kenneth Murray, Oklahoma
As the Chiefs wait and wonder if Anthony Hitchens can turn the corner in the heart of Steve Spagnuolo’s defense (two sacks in the team’s win over the Broncos certainly helps), the team might be able to find the answer at linebacker in the draft.
The cream of the crop is Dylan Moses from Alabama. Moses should be a top-20 pick and another great linebacker from the Crimson Tide. Paddy Fisher is a guy I would pound the table for, and he would be a perfect fit in Spagnuolo’s defense. He’s certainly taken his game to the next level this year.
Kenneth Murray has been turning heads as of late and has athleticism to spare for the Sooners. Troy Dye is talented but his size (he’s played with a slight frame throughout his productive career) is a concern.
