Here’s everything you need to prepare for and watch today’s showdown between two unbeaten teams: the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions

When the NFL schedule was first released, very few people would have circled the Kansas City Chiefs fourth overall game in the regular season as a major contest to watch. The Detroit Lions represented a non-conference road game sandwiched between two AFC powers in the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts. It was a forgettable matchup that most people likely assumed would be an easier win in a difficult schedule.

Fast forward to the actual game and things are looking very different. While the Chiefs are rolling over each and every opponent so far, the Lions are doing some dominating of their own. In fact, the Lions are the ones with head-turning wins, including victories over the Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles (on the road). Given their season-opening tie against the Arizona Cardinals, the Lions are also undefeated at 2-0-1.

That means someone will have their first overall loss after today’s game between the Chiefs and Lions.
