4. The Oakland Raiders

Projected contributors: EDGEs: Clelin Ferrell, Josh Mauro, Arden Key, Benson Mayowa, Maxx Crosby, DTs: Justin Ellis*, Jonathan Hankins, Maurice Hurst, PJ Hall, Corey Liuget

The Raiders are still reeling from their decision to trade Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears over a year ago. That being said, they have a reason for optimism in Oakland.

The team has a pair of talented young guys that may eventually be very good edge rushers in Clelin Ferrell and Arden Key. Both guys need to develop some more with NFL coaching but will eventually get to the place that they need to be. Along with these two, Josh Mauro also looks to be a decent contributor.

On the inside are a couple of very talented run-stoppers. Johnathan Hankins came to Oakland after spending time in New York and Indianapolis, and is regarded as one of the best against the run in the NFL. Justin Ellis is a solid piece on the inside. The team also loves the development of their young guys: Maurice Hurst and PJ Hall.

The Raiders still have a lot to prove up front, however, to be ranked anywhere near the rest of the AFC West.

Projections:

Clelin Ferrell: 37 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, 6 sacks

Josh Mauro: 44 tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks

Arden Key: 30 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks

Corey Liuget: 31 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks

Johnathan Hankins: 44 tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks

PJ Hall: 26 tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 2 sacks

Maurice Hurst: 27.5 tackles,4 tackles for a loss, 1 sack
