According to Bills general manager Brandon Beane, the Kansas City Chiefs are getting a likely Hall of Famer in LeSean McCoy.

The Buffalo Bills admitted it wasn’t an easy decision to release LeSean McCoy before the season began, but they thought it was the best move for the franchise. It’s likely because they know how talented he still is.

The veteran running back is a six-time Pro Bowler in his ten-year career, a player who has averaged over 1,000 yards rushing for the duration of his time in the NFL. Now McCoy hopes to add a Super Bowl title and even more production as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.

As Bills general manager Brandon Beane was asked about McCoy signing with the Chiefs, he stated that McCoy likely has Cantonesque credentials working in his favor at this point and says he’s joining an excellent situation in K.C.

“He’s probably a Hall of Fame player or right there at it,” said Beane. “I think that’s a great fit for him, not knowing everything but knowing Coach Reid and I know Brett Veach, the GM, and he had a past relationship, so I wish him the best. He’s going to a team that I know they’ve got a lot of high expectations and I’m sure he’ll be a great addition to what they’re doing. we truly wish him the best unless we play him.”

McCoy has only played in four postseason games in his entire career, and he’s 0-4 in those games, which means even a single win for the Chiefs in January would take him further than ever. Being able to lift a Lombardi with Reid and others would go a long way toward cementing a Hall of Fame legacy.

Next. The Chiefs have a Super Bowl caliber roster. dark

McCoy now joins a running backs room that includes Damien Williams, Darwin Thompson, Darrel Williams and Tremon Smith. It’s likely that McCoy and Damien Williams will split reps early as Thompson continues to grow week by week.
