After weeks of waiting on final details, old seats from the upper deck at Arrowhead Stadium have been made available for sale for Kansas City Chiefs fans.

We have good news and bad news for Kansas City Chiefs fans hoping to secure an old seat or two from Arrowhead Stadium. The good news: they are now available for you to purchase. The bad news: they’re not expected to last long.

For those who are able to act quickly, Schneider Industries has opened up the ability to purchase seats that used to hold fans in the upper deck of Arrowhead Stadium. This offseason, Clark Hunt invested $10 million into the stadium for a major renovation in the section that provided new seats with cupholders. The Arrowvision scoreboard has also been updated with the latest technology and the concrete has been waterproofed to help provide necessary maintenance for the structure.

From the moment the Chiefs announced the renovations to Arrowhead, fans began to indicate an interest in securing an old seat for the sake of owning a piece of team memorabilia. To that end, despite the fact that 30,000 seats have been torn out or replaced, only 2,500 total seats will be made available for purchase. Most chairs were simply too damaged or had defective hardware or had to be ripped out in order to replace them.

What this means is that seats are expected to sell out quickly. Even more, if you want any specific choices at all, you’ll want to be one of the first in line. While supplies last, fans are able to ask for a specific seat number for an extra $20.

As for the final price,  for fans who want a logo end cap (Chiefs logo on the side of the seat indicating it was the end of a row), a single seat is $397 delivered and two seats together with an end cap are $509 delivered. Without the logo end cap, seats are $297 and $409 delivered, respectively, for single and double seats.
