Bashaud Breeland

This may surprise fans to see Bashaud Breeland on this list, given he has yet to play a snap for the Kansas City Chiefs. But as mentioned with Fuller, Kansas City is really thin at the cornerback position.

Breeland, who signed with the Chiefs this offseason, is under contract for only 2019 (at a $2 million hit). A good season could be enough to bring him back for a few more. If Breeland plays well, it would be really important for the Chiefs to keep him in order to have serviceable players at cornerback, especially in a pass-heavy league.

In his five seasons with Washington and Green Bay, Breeland has 10 interceptions in his career. He joined the Packers in late September and suffered a groin injury in Week 11 in 2018, which unfortunately prevented him from having the season he would have liked to have—hence the one-year deal with the Chiefs on the open market.

Staying healthy will be key for Breeland if he wants to avoid another one-season stint with a team in his career.
