The NFL Draft is a shot in the dark. Even with today’s level of advanced analytics and refined grading techniques, even can’t miss prospects do in fact miss from time to time. NFL teams have yet to find the perfect formula for evaluating prospects.

The Kansas City Chiefs, with their long history of great individual players, are no exception to this imperfection. Like every other team, in all of sports, they have their own personal list of draft busts. Here’s a recap of that list:

Now, don’t mistake this as an indictment on these players. In reality, every single player on this list was extremely successful at their craft and competed at the highest level. That’s something most people never achieve.
