Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Iowa. T.J. Hockenson. Tight End. 21. player. 36

Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks could go a number of directions with the 21st pick. For a team that is consistently solid on defense, I believe that they will likely decide to add another element to their offense. Hockenson not only helps give Russell Wilson a new safety blanket in the passing game, but helps give solid run blocking on the edge. This pick makes almost too much sense.

EDGE. Clelin Ferrell. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Clemson. 22. player. 26

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens are going to have to deal with the unexpected departure of Terrell Suggs somehow. If Baltimore wants to remain among the best in the league on the defensive side of the ball, adding a talented edge rusher would go a long way. Ferrell makes a lot of sense at 22.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. Oklahoma. Cody Ford. 23. 10. Offensive Lineman

Houston Texans

This would be a dream scenario for the Houston Texans. Due to the increased amount of draft picks spent on players at skill positions, they find themselves with one of the best offensive linemen in the draft. Cody Ford could provide excellent versatility as well as overall skill to a depleted and struggling offensive line.

Cornerback. Deandre Baker. 28. Pick Analysis. Georgia. 24. player. Scouting Report

Oakland Raiders

After their huge trade up for Kyler Murray, the Raiders will look to invest in another cornerstone piece, this time on defense. The Raiders have struggled mightily on their back half for years. Deandre Baker has plenty of upside, but maybe more importantly, a high floor. Baker does everything that he is asked and would instantly improve Oakland’s defense.

Justin Layne. 54. Cornerback. Michigan State. 25. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Philadelphia Eagles

As a former wide receiver, Justin Layne has incredible ball skills; However, his skill as a pure cornerback is very raw. Layne may be a developmental player, but after signing Ronald Darby back for one year may give him enough time to develop into a starting caliber player. If Layne can continue to improve, the sky is the limit and it’s exactly why the Eagles will consider him in round one.

Pick Analysis. Defensive Tackle. 26. player. Scouting Report. Notre Dame. Jerry Tillery. 46

Indianapolis Colts

It would surprise me if Jerry Tillery fell to 26, however, many are projecting Tillery to go in this range. At this point in the draft, Tillery is the best player remaining on the board. The Colts and Chris Ballard will likely take the best player available with every pick in the draft. At 26, Tillery makes a ton of sense for the Colts.
