2019 NFL mock draft: Bengals, Giants trades shake up Top 10
By Grant Tuttle
28. Los Angeles Chargers
Tillery is the third ranked defensive tackle on my board and it seems that the Chargers struggle on the interior of the defense. While I would love to see Tillery in a Chiefs uniform, it seems likely that the Chargers would scoop him up in a heartbeat if he was available at pick 28.
29. Kansas City Chiefs
For the Chiefs, adding another playmaker in the back end of the defense is a must. Even with the signing of Tyrann Mathieu, they will need another safety to compliment his play style. While many believe in Armani Wats, I think that Nasir Adderly is the kind of player that Brett Veach would not be able to refuse. With great physicality and range, Adderly’s ceiling is very high. Not only could he impact the future, he could step in and make a difference on the defense immediately.
30. Houston Texans (From Green Bay Packers)
The Texans traded down and they will get the guy that they like in Garrett Bradbury. The Texans would benefit from any offensive lineman at this point of the draft, but none have more potential at this pick than Bradbury. He does everything well, and could be an All-Pro several times by the end of his career.
31. Los Angeles Rams
The Rams are will need to replace some of the production from Ndamukong Suh, if they lose him. Who better to do so than Christian Wilkins? With tremendous size and strength, the Rams would be lucky to get him at 31.
32. New England Patriots
The Patriots need playmakers badly. Deebo Samuel is very good with the ball in his hands and creates good separation. While Samuel may be a reach at 32, the Patriots need someone with his skill set badly.
That being said, it would not be shocking to see them draft Irv Smith Jr. here to replace Rob Gronkowski.
