Pick Analysis. Devin Bush Jr.. player. 49. Scouting Report. Linebacker. Michigan. 12

12. Green Bay Packers

The Packers have the luxury of two first round picks. This is very important for a team that has to begin preparations for life after Aaron Rodgers, as well as his last Super Bowl window. Devin Bush is an incredible athlete that has very good skills against the run and pass. In the Packers 3-4, Bush makes a lot of sense for an inside linebacker type role.

Pick Analysis. Florida State. 13. 59. Scouting Report. EDGE. Brian Burns. player

13. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins are starting a massive rebuild. I expect them to take a cornerstone kind of player in this draft to build around for the future. For Miami, Brian Burns would be a piece to build around for the next decade. I believe that Burns is the best EDGE in this draft not surnamed Bosa. This would be an excellent pick for Miami.

14. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Cornerback . Byron Murphy. player. 44. Washington

14. Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons have a lot of firepower on offense, but could use some new blood on defense. While the Falcons are optimistic about Isaiah Oliver, Desmond Trufant isn’t getting any younger. Murphy is the best overall cornerback in this class. The Falcons will need to force turnovers and I believe Murphy provides the best opportunity for that at pick 14.

Quarterback. Duke. Pick Analysis. Daniel Jones. 15. player. 58. Scouting Report

15. Washington Redskins

Washington is going to be desperate to win football games. After the devastating injury to Alex Smith, Case Keenum was signed this offseason. For Jay Gruden, that is not good enough. With a hope that he can remain with the team long-term, Daniel Jones at 15 seems logical. Jones has a high floor, but his ceiling is far lower than the other quarterbacks taken before him.

Jonah Williams. Pick Analysis. Offensive Lineman. Alabama. 16. player. Scouting Report. 87

16. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have a lot question marks going forward. While I could certainly see Carolina looking for a guy like Greedy Williams at this pick, I think they are going to hope that their offense can take over as one of the better units in the NFC. With Cam Newton’s lingering injuries, the team may consider Jonah Williams here. While some don’t believe that he is a sure bet as a tackle, Carolina needs offensive line help at any position other than center. Williams would make an impact immediately.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Greedy Williams. 17. Cornerback. LSU. player. 31

17. New York Giants

The Giants have a lot of questions on both sides of the ball, so I expect them to use this pick for a cornerstone player. Some believe that Greedy Williams does not always show his best effort, but he is the best man coverage corner in this draft. If the Giants want to have a good defense for the next decade, they will need to take best player available and I believe Williams would be the highest rated player on their board.
