Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes will make an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Monday night.

The Kansas City Chiefs have an official celebrity on their hands. Along famous actors and comedians, starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes will make his latest television appearance on Monday night with a scheduled stint on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Mahomes is, indeed, a true star for the NFL, a 23-year-old sensation at the game’s most important position. Mahomes not only won the league’s MVP award in his first season as a starting quarterback but he also became the second entrant into the exclusive 5,000 yards, 50 touchdowns club.

Fallon announced his guests for Monday night’s show via Twitter to give a preview of what fans can expect. It’s an interesting mix that brings Mahomes alongside some of today’s most buzz-worthy celebs.

Mahomes has slowly been allowing himself more and more of a national spotlight. After purposefully eschewing any and all endorsement deals during his rookie campaign, he’s emerged this year as a spokesman for several companies—from Hunt’s ketchup to Adidas shoes to Bose speakers to Panini trading cards.

Mahomes remains an everyman off the field, which is part of the magic of why he’s so beloved—not only in K.C. but by most football fans. He’s a freak at the position who pulls off impossible throws on a regular basis, but he’s also a fun-loving guy who goes to Top Golf with his friends, playing video games, wears jorts, and seems to truly be a very humble yet famous man.

We’re not sure what Fallon has in store for Mahomes’s appearance, but you’d better believe we’ll be tuned in.

The Tonight Show airs tonight at 10:35 p.m. C.T. on NBC.
