Here’s a new full first-round mock draft that features a trade-up scenario for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The frenzy of NFL free agency has largely slowed down at the end of March, even with reports that several teams may not be done. Now that all of the major free agents have been signed, the NFL’s attention starts to turn completely toward the draft.

For the Kansas City Chiefs, general manager Brett Veach has more draft assets to utilize than ever before. Given his aggressive nature and the team’s defensive needs, it seems plausible that Veach would be willing to move up to find his man in the draft.

Here’s a new full first-round mock that shows where the best quarterbacks could fall, how the Patriots will trade out of the first round, and where the Chiefs might have to land to get their man.

Pick Analysis. 1. player. 32. Scouting Report. Quarterback. Oklahoma. Kyler Murray

Arizona Cardinals

With the new era starting in Arizona, I expect the Cardinals to select a quarterback that can fit and develop under Kliff Kingsbury‘s “air raid” system. Kyler Murray has great accuracy and athleticism and I believe that he is far and away the best quarterback in the draft class. Despite questions about is size, Murray definitely makes sense for the Arizona Cardinals.

EDGE. player. 42. Pick Analysis. Ohio State. Nick Bosa. 2. Scouting Report

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers will be looking for the best player available to rebuild their team so it can compete for the NFC West in the future. After adding Dee Ford to play the weakside defensive end, the team may consider going with a player like Jawaan Taylor or D.K. Metcalf to help Jimmy Garappolo, but if they don’t trade out of the number three overall pick, I think it would be difficult for them to pass up on Nick Bosa, who would make an excellent strongside defensive end and could replace a struggling Solomon Thomas.

31. Quarterback. Ohio State. Dwayne Haskins. 3. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player

New York Giants TRADE UP (From New York Jets)

With uncertainty as to how the board will fall, I expect someone to move up for Dwayne Haskins. As of right now, I think the Giants make a lot of sense, given their desire to add a quarterback of the future and their draft capital. Haskins is the second best quarterback on my board and certainly could help the Giants build for a successful future.

4. player. 28. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Kentucky. Josh Allen

Oakland Raiders

Given the Raiders struggle with pass-rush last season, Allen would make an automatic upgrade. Although he needs to develop in an NFL defense, his upside is incredible. With newly-hired Mike Mayock running the show, I expect Josh Allen to be high on the Raiders’ draft board. Allen is a very skilled pass-rusher.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Alabama. Quinnen Williams. 5. player. 48. Defensive Tackle

Tampa Bay Bucaneers

The Bucs only need to fix a few deficiencies to improve quite a bit. With Bruce Arians running the show, I would expect a real improvement for the Tampa Bay offense. That being said, they could use this draft pick to bolster the offensive line or add another weapon. With the reports that said the team was looking to move on from Gerald McCoy, Quinnen Williams could step in and be a force in the middle of the defensive line as well as be the future.
