This unique mock draft takes a closer look at several options—from best selections to dark horse candidates—in each of the early rounds for the Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs have four selections in the first three rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft. What they do with these selections will play an important role in the Super Bowl aspirations going forward.

Given that it is still early in the process, so we’re going to take a unique approach to the predictions in this mock draft. We will look at three different categories of players.

The Logical selection: This player will be the player that makes the most sense for Kansas City, and has a high probability of being there for the Chiefs pick. These are names that you can likely find mocked to Kansas City in other mock drafts.

The Best Case selection: This would be a player who the Chiefs would love to see at their pick, but likely won’t be there without a dramatic slide. These are players that Chiefs fans should watch on NFL draft day and hope that the 28 teams picking before Brett Veach and Kansas City decide to pass on.

The Dark Horse selection: This is the pick no one expects, and everyone will complain about on Twitter. It could be a guy you have never heard of, or a position no one things is a need for Kansas City. Either way, it is an outside the box selection that could happen.

The 2019 NFL Draft is loaded with talent and, hopefully, this mock draft will serve as a starting place for Kansas City fans to start familiarizing themselves with prospects.
