PACE MURPHY, OL

Ryan Hunter is not the only offensive lineman that the Chiefs currently have signed to a reserve/futures deal. Pace Murphy has also been on Kansas Citys Practice squad since October of 2018. Murphy has also spent time with The San Fransisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams. Murphy’s only regular-season action of his career came in 2016 where he played in two games for the Rams.

Other than that short stint he has spent all of his time on each teams practice squad. Murphy seems to be a known commodity at this point; he is only 24 though. So, he still has time to develop into a quality offensive lineman if the Chiefs become needy at the position. As a long term developmental prospect there are worse players that Kansas City could be putting their faith into.
