RYAN HUNTER, OT

One thing that Brett Veach has shown is his eye for offensive line talent. Cameron Erving, Jordan Devey, and Austin Reiter all played well this season either as a starter or filling in for injured players along the line. That should make you excited that Ryan Hunter signed a reserve/futures contract with the Chiefs. Hunter is another Candian prospect, much like our own Laurent Duvernay-Tardif.

Hunter was ranked as one of the top Canadian prospects coming out of Bowling Green last season. Hunter played both guard and tackle during his time in college, and that kind of position versatility is coveted in the NFL. Arrowhead Pride’s Kent Swanson did an in-depth review of Hunter as part of his lottery ticket series. If there is one player that could make the jump from the bottom of the totem pole to a start position, it’s Hunter.
