JOSH CROCKETT, WR

Josh Crockett signed with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Central Oklahoma. Once the cut down to the 53-man roster happened, the Chiefs decided to add the 6’2 197-pound receiver to the practice squad. Looking into Crockett’s history, it’s pretty apparent why Kansas City would be interested in him. Crockett had an impressive career playing for the Central Oklahoma Bronchos. He finished as the No. 6 in school history in receptions (129) and yards (2,003).

Going back even further to his high school days, Crockett took home the Class 4A 200 Meter dash state title his senior year. With all of that speed, Crockett has also spent time as a kick and punt returner during his career. Having that type of versatility is invaluable at the NFL level, and with wide receiver spots opening up on the team for the 2019 season, we could see Crockett make a push for the 53-man roster.
