Offensive Public Enemy #1:

Julian Edelman, WR

The Patriots have one viable weapon in the passing game: Julian Edelman. Tom Brady is well-aware of that fact. In fact, Brady has targeted Edelman an average of nine times per game this season. With the absence of a top-tier Rob Gronkowski and number two wide receiver, Brady targeting Edelman early and often is obvious.

Offensive Public Enemy #2:

James White, RB

This is simple. Tom Brady is no longer known for his deep ball, or passes downfield. Now, to remain effective, Brady has developed his quick game. Basically, without the short pass, Brady would struggle. James White has been a major part of Brady’s success this season. The Chiefs will need Dorian O’Daniel to come back and have a big game in pass coverage to stop quick and easy yards for the passing game.

Offensive Public Enemy #3:

Sony Michel, RB

With the exception of the past two weeks, the Chiefs have struggled against the rushing game. Sony Michel has good balance and power. If Kansas City does not slow him down between the tackles, the Chiefs are in for a long day.

Defensive Public Enemy:

Trey Flowers, EDGE

While I could have easily placed Stephon Gilmore in this spot, Trey Flowers is the only player on the team with the ability to continuously get pressure on the quarterback. In order to give Patrick Mahomes the best chance to throw the ball down field, the Chiefs will need to keep Flowers out of the backfield.
