The Indianapolis Colts will be without wide receiver Ryan Grant and defensive lineman Tyquan Lewis against the Chiefs on Saturday.

The Indianapolis Colts have a rather long injury list, but only two players are definitely out against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs: wide receiver Ryan Grant and defensive lineman Tyquan Lewis.

Both Lewis and Grant have already been ruled out by Frank Reich heading into Saturday’s game at Arrowhead Stadium. Grant has not practiced at all during the week leading up to the game due to a toe injury that forced him to miss the Wild Card round as well, a win over the Houston Texans.

Lewis also missed the Colts’ game against Houston but was a bit more hopeful to play this week. He was listed as doubtful on injury reports initially but was downgraded when it was clear the former Ohio State product wasn’t going to play at all.

Lewis is the much bigger loss for the Colts as they seek to control the line of scrimmage against a potent Chiefs offense. The second round choice missed the first half of the season, but played in eight games, starting six of them, in the season’s second half and showed why Chris Ballard thought so highly of him. The end had 8 quarterback hits, 3 tackles for a loss, 2 sacks and 1 pass defended—all of which shows how disruptive he can be at the line.
