We sat down with Rams expert Steve Riveral to hear more about Jared Goff’s growth, Marcus Peters’ struggles and why the Rams defense is worse than expected.

The Kansas City Chiefs will have their work cut out for them in Week 11 as they travel to take on the Los Angeles Rams. Originally supposed to be played in Mexico City, the game was moved to Los Angeles due to poor field conditions. Even players from both teams raised their opinions about playing on the field in Mexico.

All season long, Chiefs fans have been looking forward to this matchup. These two teams have been compared more times than we can all count throughout the season, and each side will get their chance to prove they are the better of the two. Many analysts have chosen these two teams as their predicted Super Bowl matchup.

While we aren’t ready to talk Super Bowl just yet, there is a case to be made. Both teams are 9-1 heading into this game. Each team has only lost a game to another Super Bowl contending caliber opponent, but this game will be for even more marbles. There are some names that we need to know before going into this game from Los Angeles.

While wide receiver Cooper Kupp has gone down with a season-ending injury, there are plenty of weapons on the Rams offense that makes them dangerous. Running back Todd Gurley is still in the race for MVP this season as he not only leads the league in rushing yards but is a tremendous threat in the passing game as well. Wide receiver Brandin Cooks is another option that the team traded their first-round pick for to replace Sammy Watkins this last offseason.

There’s also the defensive talent that was added in the offseason that made this team look unbeatable—the additions of players like Aqib Talib, who is now on Injured Reserve, Marcus Peters, and Ndamukong Suh. Peters hasn’t lived up to expectations and with Talib hurt, and that could be something to take advantage of for Kansas City.

Let’s take a look at the conversation I had with L.A. Rams expert Steve Rivera, site expert for Ramblin’ Fan, and get an inside look on Monday’s big game.
