The Kansas City Chiefs are jostling for the best overall team with the New Orleans Saints in most NFL power rankings heading into Week 11.

Various media outlets are certain about one thing: the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs are the two best teams in the National Football League right now. The only question is what order in which to place them.

The latest NFL power rankings are out with Week 10 of the regular season schedule in the books, and the Saints and Chiefs continued to roll over opponents. The Chiefs put away the Arizona Cardinals in a tougher-than-expected home game at Arrowhead Stadium to move to 9-1. Meanwhile, the Saints rolled over the Cincinnati Bengals by 37 points in a total blowout, two points more than the same team’s deficit to the Chiefs just four weeks ago.

Let’s take a look around the interwebs for a better look at power rankings and how others are perceiving the Chiefs at this point in the season.

Yahoo! Sports: Chiefs at No. 1

The good folks at Yahoo! have the Chiefs up top over the Saints who sit one spot above the L.A. Rams. The Rams lone loss is to Sean Payton and company so the Saints are going to maintain that edge until New Orleans loses another game.

ESPN: Chiefs at No. 2

The Saints are No. 1 here and elsewhere and there’s good reason to believe in them given how they’re steamrolling over opponents. The team’s only loss was a shootout in Week 1 against Tampa Bay (remember Fitzmagic?). Ever since, Drew Brees is Man on Fire and putting up his best MVP candidacy yet.

SB Nation: Chiefs at No. 2

It’s going to take another big game win (or Saints loss) to flip this duo, which K.C. can do next week against the Rams.

Sporting News: Chiefs at No. 2

Some good insight from Vinnie Iyer. “The Chiefs proved they can win a gritty game when Patrick Mahomes and Kareem Hunt are not automatic. That bodes well for the tougher conditions in December and in the playoffs.”

For now the Saints hold a slight edge. In one week, they will likely be in second place looking up to the winner of Rams-Chiefs.
