The Kansas City Chiefs will be without key players for Sunday night’s matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals for Week 7, including Justin Houston.

There were several injuries for both the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals on the Week 7 injury report, including K.C.’s starting center Mitch Morse. Morse had been dealing with a concussion, forcing him to be a nonparticipant in practice for the entire week. The team released their injury report, stating that Morse would be ruled out against the Bengals. There are also two who are doubtful on the injury report for the Chiefs.

Those two listed doubtful are star safety Eric Berry and outside linebacker Justin Houston. Houston has a nagging hamstring injury that kept him away from practice the entire week, and Berry has not practiced since August 11th. It’s unlikely Berry will see any playing time anytime soon, so his status of doubtful comes of no surprise.

Aside from the more serious injuries for the Chiefs, there were also two players listed as questionable: outside linebacker Tanoh Kpassagnon and safety Eric Murray. Both young players have been dealing with ankle injuries for the past couple of weeks. With their status being listed as questionable, it’s uncertain whether or not they will be available for Sunday night’s game. Four other players who showed up on the injury report have no status, meaning they will be available to play this week.

The Bengals have an extensive injury report this week, having five of their players ruled out for the Week 7 matchup against the Chiefs. Those listed as out are running back Giovani Bernard, cornerback Darqueze Dennard, tight end Tyler Kroft, center Billy Price and linebacker Nick Vigil. Safety Shawn Williams was also listed as questionable.

The Bengals also had 10 other players listed on the injury report, but they have no official injury designation, meaning they will be available for Sunday’s game as well.
