THE FUTURE

The future for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs has never looked brighter than it does after the game on Sunday against the Patriots. He proved without any doubt that he can beat anyone, even in a loss, and that a big game atmosphere is not too much for him.

The all-important “on pace for” stats had another good week. He increased his touchdown pace as he is now on pace for 48 touchdowns for the season, seven off the 55 touchdown record of Peyton Manning. His yards for the season also took a jump as he is now on pace for nearly 5,000 yards at 4,973. All of this while on pace for only 10 interceptions and zero fumbles.

If anyone still doubts Mahomes, they are nothing more than haters who will never be satisfied and will spend his entire career doubting him. For everyone else, he proved that he is as good as he’s looked and he is the future of the NFL.
