Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill wants to “take action” against the Patriots fan who threw his beer at him after scoring a touchdown on Sunday.

On Sunday night, Tyreek Hill experienced the dark side of playing on the road in the National Football League as an opposing fan decided that throwing his beer in the face of a professional football player was an acceptable act.

Hill was doused with a beer among other things after scoring a touchdown against the New England Patriots. Now the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver wants to “take action.”

The Sunday night showdown between the Chiefs and the Patriots was an emotional game for sure, an exciting shootout between two of the NFL’s best teams in primetime. When Hill scored his touchdown, the Pats were on the ropes against an ascending Chiefs team making an unlikely comeback from 15 points down at halftime.

However nothing excuses the Patriots fan who decided to hit Hill with a beer. While it was a dumb choice with potentially destructive repercussions, the good news is that his deed is not going unpunished. News is that he’s been not only identified but banned from future Patriots games as well  as charged with disorderly conduct.

It will be interesting to see if any civic action comes from this, but at least Hill can know that the next time he decides to put up three touchdowns on the Patriots home field, one less idiotic fan will be there to greet him in the end zone seats.
