Fit with the Chiefs

Clelin Ferrell is a long and talented EDGE defender who could play as a weak side end in a 4-3 or an outside backer in a 3-4. He has an above average motor and an arsenal of moves to get off blockers and make players in the backfield. Ferrell is quicker than he is fast and has room to bulk and grow into his frame. It is worth noting that some worry that Ferrell benefits from all of the talent around him, but I believe his technical prowess and motor give him a very high chance of success in the NFL.

Ferrell would fit very well as an outside linebacker in the Chiefs system, and would serve as the heir apparent to Justin Houston. It is very likely that Ferrell is a top 10, potentially top 5 pick in the draft this April so the Chiefs may have to move up to land the Clemson defender.
